The National Volleyball League Women’s division final between Ndejje Elites and KCB Nkumba will be decided in Game 3 next Sunday, 2nd June 2024.
Ndejje Elites leveled the series with a 3-1 victory on Sunday evening, overcoming Nkumba with set scores of 25-21, 21-25, 25-23, and 25-20.
This result comes after Nkumba claimed a narrow 3-2 win in the first round, handing Ndejje their first loss of the season.
The upcoming match will mark the first decisive Game 3 in the Serie A this season, setting the stage for an intense conclusion to the championship.
Nkumba needed to win Game 2 to secure the championship but the Ndejje Elites showcased resilience and determination to bounce back after their initial defeat.
Sunday’s match saw them securing crucial points in tight moments, particularly in the third set, which ended with a close 25-23 scoreline.
Nkumba managed to take the second set 25-21, but could not maintain their momentum against the persistent Elites.
