NBS Sport Secures Broadcasting Rights for EURO 2024

NBS Sport, the 24/7 Ugandan sports broadcasting channel, has secured broadcasting rights to air select matches of the UEFA European Football Championship 2024, providing Ugandan football enthusiasts with unprecedented access to the prestigious tournament.

The UEFA Euros, one of the most anticipated events in international football, is set to captivate audiences worldwide as Europe’s top national teams vie for supremacy on the pitch.

Under the terms of the agreement, NBS Sport will deliver live coverage of twelve matches, including the final bringing the excitement and drama of the Euros directly to Ugandan households.

Speaking ahead of EURO 2024, NBS Sport Brand Manager, Victor Akatwijuka said this initiative was just one of the steps taken by the channel as a leading sports broadcaster in Uganda to provide comprehensive coverage of global sporting events.

“We are thrilled to bring UEFA EURO 2024 to our viewers in Uganda. We remain dedicated to delivering top-quality sports content and further solidify our position as the premier destination for sports enthusiasts across the nation,” he said.

As the sole Ugandan channel broadcasting UEFA EURO 2024, NBS Sport is primed to provide comprehensive coverage, analysis, and commentary, ensuring that football fans do not miss a moment of the action.

EURO 2024 is set to kick off on June 14th with hosts Germany taking on Scotland.
