Kampala Queens Poised for Redemption in FUFA Women’s Cup Derby

After a tough loss in the FUFA Women Super League decider match to Kawempe Muslim, Kampala Queens is ready to bounce back in the FUFA Women’s Cup.

“We’ve worked hard to regain our mental fitness and I’ve seen a positive display in our last training session,” Coach Ayiekoh stated.

“We’re ready for the challenge. It’s a do-or-die situation whenever we meet She Corporate, but we’re up for the fight,” he added.

The team is bolstered by the determination of key players, including goalkeeper Gloria Namakula, who expressed confidence in their preparation.

“I am contented with my team’s preparation and determination, and although it won’t be easy, we’re ready to put up a fierce fight. We’re determined to make up for our loss in the Super League final. We’ve learned from our mistakes and we’re ready to give it our all in the Fufa Women Cup,” she said.

With no injuries reported since their last game against Kawempe Muslim, Kampala Queens is at full strength and ready to take on She Corporate in what promises to be an exciting and intense match.

The team’s resilience and preparation are expected to be on full display as they seek redemption and aim for victory in the upcoming derby.
