Fresh Dairy Quarterfinals: Amus College and St. Noa Girls Impress

Today, the Fresh Dairy Girls Quarterfinals took centre stage, with eight teams battling for a spot in the semifinals. The matches were filled with excitement, skill, and determination as the young players gave their all on the field.

In the first match, Amus College dominated Sacred Heart with a resounding 5-0 victory. Opiya Shayine of Amus College led the charge with a hat-trick, showcasing impressive teamwork and strategy that left their opponents struggling to keep up.

The second match saw Kawempe Muslim emerge victorious in a thrilling encounter against Uganda Martyrs, winning 5-3 in a penalty shootout. The teams were evenly matched throughout regular play, but Kawempe Muslim’s superior penalty skills ultimately secured their place in the semifinals.

Rines SS secured a narrow 2-1 victory over Sheema Girls in the third match, highlighting their skill and determination. The game was a nail-biter, with both teams fiercely contesting every ball.

In the final match of the day, St. Noa Girls made a stunning statement with a 7-0 win over Boni Concili. The match featured an own goal by Mackline Niwandida in the first 12 minutes and a hat-trick by Sylvia Kabene, leaving fans and opponents alike in awe of their performance.

The semifinal matchups are set, with Amus College facing Rines SS at 2:00 PM, and Kawempe Muslim taking on St. Noa Girls at 4:00 PM. The winners of these games, which will be played tomorrow, will advance to the finals. Kawempe Muslim will have another chance to defend their title.
