Mbarara City Football Club have extended the contract of forward Henry Kitegenyi for an additional three years, keeping him at the club until June 2027. The striker has proven to be a pivotal player for the team since joining from Vipers in the 2020/21 season.

Last season alone, he netted 8 goals in 27 appearances, demonstrating his proficiency in front of goal. Additionally, he recorded 30 shots on target throughout the campaign, underscoring his attacking threat.
During his debut season with Mbarara City, Kitegenyi made an immediate impact by scoring 9 goals, followed by 5 goals in the subsequent season. His consistent performance has made him a fan favorite and a crucial asset for the team’s offensive strategy.
