Former Vipers winger Abdu Lumala will once again be looking for a new club in the ongoing transfer window.
The Ugandan who was released by the Venoms in the January exchange market found a new home in Croatian side NK Slaven Belupo in March.
However, Belupo have also let go of the 26-year-old just three months into his two-year contract.
“Abdu Lumala is no longer a player of Slaven Belupo. He arrived in Koprivnica in March of this year and made a total of four appearances in our jersey. Abdu, good luck in your career!” a short club statement read on Twitter.
Following his departure from Kitende, he was unpleased with what he had experienced in the Uganda Premier League during his two-year stay at Vipers and he is unlikely to return.
Reports are linking him with a return to Sweden where he has played previously for clubs like Helsingborg IF, Syrianska FC, Mjallby AIF, IFK Varnamo, Kalmar FF, and Varbergs Bols before he joined Egyptian side Pyramids FC.
At the Egyptian moneybags, he was signed by former Uganda Cranes head coach Sebastien Desabre following an impressive performance at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt where the Cranes reached the Round of 16 before falling to runners-up Senegal.
