The UCU Lady Canons edged out the Magic Stormers Basketball Club with a final score of 69-64 in a closely contested NBL Women’s match.
The game, held at the MTN Arena, saw the Lady Canons displaying a strong fourth-quarter performance to secure their win.
The Lady Canons started strong, leading 30-15 by the end of the first quarter. Despite a strong comeback by the Magic Stormers in the second and third quarters, UCU managed to hold their lead.
The fourth quarter saw UCU outscore the Magic Stomers 18-16, sealing their victory.
