Thirteen-time Uganda Premier League champions Kampala City Council Authority Football Club (KCCA FC) have completed the signing of Emmanuel Anyama from FUFA Big League side Kaaro Karungi.
The 24-year-old striker has put pen to paper on a four-year contract with the Kasasiro Boys, which will keep him at the club until the end of the 2027-28 season.
Anyama, who is fondly known as “Pastor Emma”, was superb for Kaaro Karungi in the 2023-24 FUFA Big League season, scoring 12 goals for the Ibanda-based side, and finishing as the third-top scorer in the league.
Before Kaaro Karungi, Anyama also played for Adjumani Town Council FC, which plays in the West Nile Regional League.
The striker was unveiled by the Lugogo-based club on the evening of Thursday, June 27th.
Speaking after completing his move to KCCA, the delighted striker expressed his enthusiasm about joining the club, saying, “I am thrilled to be joining KCCA FC! This club has a great tradition and I am eager to contribute to that legacy.”
“I am impressed by the passion of how things are done here, and I can’t wait to give my all on the pitch. Together, we can achieve great things.” He added.
Anyama’s arrival at KCCA will be a significant boost for the Kasasiro Boys as they aim to reclaim their lost glory and secure their 14th league title in the coming season.
The prolific young striker joins other talented strikers at the club, including Muhammed Shaban, who agreed to a new two-year contract extension with the side headed by coach Abdullah Mubiru.
