On July 14th, Wakiso Giants officially introduced Steven Bengo as their new Head Coach and Tonny Mawejje as the Assistant Coach, both signing three-year contracts.
This announcement comes after the departure of John Luyinda, whose two-year tenure ended.
Luyinda took over in 2022, succeeding Alex Gitta following the dismissal of Douglas Bamweyana.
The Purple Sharks, who finished 11th last season, are looking to their new coaching duo to improve their performance in the upcoming season.
