Hassan Muhamud is the latest player to join StarTimes Uganda Premier League giants KCCA in the ongoing transfer window.
The defender’s move to the MTN Omondi Stadium means that he has reunited with head coach Abdallah Mubiru.
“I am delighted to join KCCA . It is every player’s desire to play for a club like this,” Muhamud said in the aftermath of his unveiling.
“I have a very good relationship with the manager and he has shared with me his plans. I am certain that we can achieve so much as a unit,” he added.
“The club has fantastic players and this kind of competition keeps every player on the toes and it is healthy for all of us,” he concluded.
Mubiru and Muhamud worked together at the Uganda Premier League newly promoted side, Police before they were relegated and Mbeya City FC in Tanzania.
He is the Kasasiro Boys’ fifth signing during this window after Shafik Kwikiriza, Steven Munguchi, Emmanuel Anyama, and Bright Anukani joined from BUL, Gaddafi, Kaaro Karungi, and Vipers, respectively.
The 13-time SUPL champions will be looking for a league title next campaign which has eluded them for six seasons now.
