Wakiso Giants have kicked off preparations for the 2024-25 league season with a foreign signing.
The Purple Sharks announced on their social media channels the acquisition of Zambian winger Erick Kabamba on a two-year contract.
Kabamba’s career includes time at Zambia’s Kabwe Warriors and Buildcon, along with a stint at Young Africans in Tanzania.
Shortly before this signing, the club appointed new coaches: Steven Bengo and Tonny Mawejje, both former Uganda Cranes stars, assumed the positions of head coach and assistant coach, respectively, making Kabamba their first official signing.
