The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has unveiled a fresh, modern identity for the TotalEnergies CAF Super Cup, marking a new chapter for the prestigious club competition.
This announcement comes just weeks before the highly anticipated clash between Egyptian giants Al Ahly SC and Zamalek SC, set for Friday, September 27th in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The revamped identity draws inspiration from the actual Super Cup trophy, mirroring the approach taken for the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations earlier this year.
“The unveiling of the TotalEnergies CAF Super Cup’s new identity builds upon the remarkable evolution of African football, which has garnered international acclaim in recent years,” said CAF General Secretary, Veron Mosengo-Omba.
This year’s Super Cup pits two of Egypt’s most decorated clubs against each other.
The launch of the new identity coincides with other positive developments for the TotalEnergies CAF Super Cup.
Earlier this year, the CAF Executive Committee approved a 130% increase in prize money for the competition’s winner.
