Mbarara pair of Henry Kitegenyi and captain Joseph Akandwanaho and URA’s duo of Ivan Ahimbisibwe and Moses Aliro netted the four goals.

Kitengenyi opened the scoring a quarter of an hour in the game and it was enough for the visitors to take a narrow 1-0 advantage at halftime.

Five minutes into the second half, Ahimbisibwe doubled the advantage before Akandwanaho stretched the lead in the 53rd minute.

Aliro capped off the scoring with a 57th minute strike in a game of large numbers in terms of attendance with free entrance.

Sam Ssimbwa’s charges will return to Kampala and battle with Kitara in the third-place playoff game of the Super 8 on Sunday, September 1.
