Ugandan netball sensation Faridah Kadondi has made a significant move to the United Kingdom, joining Nottingham Forest Netball Club.
The talented defender will take on the crucial role of goal defence for the club as they prepare for the upcoming Netball Super League season.
Kadondi, who has been a cornerstone of the Ugandan national team, brings a wealth of experience to Nottingham Forest. She has previously represented Weyonje Netball Club and KCCA Leopards Basketball Club, showcasing her versatility as an athlete.
This will be Kadondi’s debut season in the Netball Super League, but her impact on the international stage has been undeniable.
She was instrumental in Uganda’s success at the 2022 Fast5 World Series, earning the prestigious Player of the Match award against Australia.
Nottingham Forest, under the guidance of experienced coach Chelsea Pitman, will assemble for the first time in October to kickstart their preparations for the 2025 season, which is scheduled to begin in March.
The club, which has recently expanded its sporting portfolio under the ownership of Evangelos Marinakis, is excited to welcome Kadondi to their ranks.
As a new addition to the Netball Super League, Nottingham Forest aims to make a strong impression and compete at the highest level.
