The Central Region Bodybuilding Championships 2024 are set to be a spectacle of strength and athleticism on September 21st at the Mamerito Hotel in Bweyogerere.
With a 70 competitors registered, this year’s event promises to be more intense than ever.
Organized by Kisakye Denis, the competition will feature both male and female athletes vying for the coveted regional titles.
The winners will then advance to the national finals to compete against bodybuilders from other regions. The ultimate goal is to represent Uganda at the East African Bodybuilding Championships on October 12th.
Daniel Mwesigwa, a prominent bodybuilder from Kampala, is among those eager to make a statement at the championships.
Mwesigwa is aiming to not only secure the Central Region title but also dominate the East African competition.
He hopes the victory will open doors to endorsements and other professional opportunities in the sport.
The event is scheduled to begin at 12:00 PM. The grand prize of 3,000,000 UGX, along with a special award from renowned bodybuilder Golola Moses, will add to the excitement and competitiveness of the championships.
