The draws for the CAF African Nations Championship (CHAN) 2024 will be held on Wednesday, October 9th, 2024. This also happens to be the day Uganda, one of the hosts of the tournament will be celebrating her 62nd Independence Anniversary.
The draws will determine the matchups for the national teams vying for a spot in the prestigious tournament co-hosted by Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania.
The qualifiers will unfold in a two-round knockout format played on a home and away basis.
The first round kicks off on the weekend of October 25th-27th and concludes on November 1st-3rd, 2024. The second round follows suit on December 20th-22nd and culminates on December 27th-29th, 2024.

CHAN 2024 will serve as a valuable opportunity for Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania to refine their preparations for hosting the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations 2027.
