West African rivals Ghana and Nigeria will renew their fierce rivalry in the qualifying rounds for the 2024 Africa Nations Championship (CHAN).
The draw for the continental tournament, which features domestic-based players, was conducted on Wednesday, pairing the two nations in a highly anticipated matchup.
The 2024 CHAN, set to be held in Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda from February 1-28, will feature 19 teams, an increase from the 18-team edition in 2022.
The qualifying process will consist of two rounds, with the first round taking place from October 25-27 and November 1-3.
The second round is scheduled for December 20-22 and 27-29. The teams that advance from the second round will secure their place in the final tournament.
Notably, Uganda will face the winner of Burundi Vs Somalia in the second round.
