Uganda Premier League side Soltilo Bright Stars have confirmed the termination of Head Coach Joseph Mutyaba’s contract. The decision comes into effect immediately after the club witnessed a dismal start to the season.
Bright Stars haven’t won a game this season sitting bottom of the log with 3 points.
The club expressed their gratitude to Mutyaba for his “dedication and contributions” during his time at the helm. No specific reasons were given for the departure.
Soltilo Bright Stars have named NBS Sport’s pundit and their current Technical Director Ian Mutenda as Interim Head Coach while they search for a permanent replacement.
Mutenda will be assisted by Danny Kirumira, Sula Sebunza, and Ibrahim Mugisha.
Bright Stars face Kitara next Friday in the Uganda Premier League.
