Bbosa Remains Optimistic Despite Tough Start to Life at Kitara

Kitara head coach, Wasswa Bbosa, has expressed unwavering confidence in his team’s ability to turn their fortunes around, despite a disappointing start to the season.

The club, which enjoyed a successful campaign last year, culminating in a Uganda Cup victory and a fourth-place league finish, has struggled to replicate that form this season.

With five losses in their first seven games, Kitara find themselves in the relegation zone.

Despite the recent 2-0 defeat to URA, Bbosa remains optimistic.

“We have no reason to panic,” he stated. “We are working hard to address the issues and regain our momentum.”

The upcoming fixtures present a stern test for Kitara. They face a crucial match against Bright Stars, followed by a home tie against UPDF, and a daunting trip to Vipers.

These matches will be pivotal in determining the club’s fate this season.

Bbosa emphasized the importance of maintaining belief and sticking to the game plan.

“We have over twenty games left to play,” he said. “We must work together and stay focused.”

As the pressure mounts from fans and the club’s hierarchy, Kitara will need to find a way to rediscover their winning formula and climb the league table.
