In the men’s division, Team VBL dominated with a strong 21-10 win over Team DT, while the Jinja Assassins took the women’s final, defeating Iganga Sharks 12-6.

Both teams showcased skill and strategy, earning automatic qualification for the National Finals in Kampala, where they join previously qualified teams from Mbarara and Kampala circuits.

The Jinja Circuit champions join Ntare PickUp (Men) and Mbarara University Hoopers (Ladies) from Mbarara Circuit and Grim Reapers, Team Clan (Men), and 3-Peat (Ladies) from Kampala.

The competition will now move to Gulu on November 9, before continuing to Kampala, Mbale, and Mukono to finalize the national finalists.

In total, seven circuits are taking place across Uganda, each offering significant prize money for the winners and runners-up.

Each circuit winner receives UGX 400,000, with UGX 200,000 going to the runner-up.

For the National Finals, stakes are even higher, with UGX 2,000,000 for each winning team and UGX 1,000,000 for the second-place teams in both the men’s and women’s categories.

With just a few circuits left, the Mountain Dew UG 3×3 Series continues to be an exciting platform for Uganda’s top 3×3 basketball talent, bringing competitive spirit and community engagement to courts across the country.
