Initially doubting the authenticity of the news, Diphas expressed his disbelief, stating, “At first, I thought it was a scam. But when I received a follow-up call, it started to sink in. It’s always been my dream to watch a Premier League game live, and now it’s happening!”

The prize includes an all-expenses-paid trip to the UK, where Diphas will have the opportunity to witness a thrilling Premier League match. Joining him on this unforgettable journey is Jonan Kato, another lucky winner from the same Matchday event.

“The emotions I felt were overwhelming,” shared Jonan. “I’ve traveled a lot, but I’ve never been to the UK. Winning this trip is a dream come true!”

Rogers Kasozi, Guinness Brand Manager, emphasized the brand’s commitment to creating unforgettable experiences for football fans in Uganda.

“We’re thrilled to see our vision come to life,” he said. “This is what the Guinness Matchday experience is all about: giving our consumers the chance to celebrate their favorite teams and live out their wildest dreams.”

Guinness Matchday events have become a popular destination for football enthusiasts, offering live screenings, expert analysis, and exciting giveaways.

These events provide fans with the opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of football and cheer on their favorite teams.
