Fiorentina midfielder Edoardo Bove has made a remarkable recovery after collapsing during a Serie A match against Inter Milan on Sunday.
The 22-year-old is now awake, alert, and communicating with his family and teammates.
The incident, which caused widespread concern among fans and players alike, led to the immediate suspension of the match. Bove was quickly attended to by medical staff and rushed to the hospital.
In a statement released on Monday, Fiorentina confirmed that Bove had been extubated and was in stable condition.
