Tanzania secured the top spot with a 2-0 victory over Rwanda in their final match.

The Girls’ category saw Uganda represented by St. Noa claim the title, also on goal difference, after accumulating seven points.

Uganda showcased their dominance with an impressive 8-0 victory over Rwanda in an earlier match.

Brendah Nassaka led the scoring charge with four goals, while Halima Mupyanga netted a brace. Cynthia Kirenga and Lilian Nabukeera also contributed to the resounding win.

At the awards ceremony, the champions received medals and trophies, along with dummy cheques for prize money. Tanzania and Uganda, as the respective champions, received US100,000 each.

The runners-up, Uganda in the Boys’ category and Tanzania in the Girls’, received US75,000 each.

Somalia and Burundi, who finished third in the Boys’ and Girls’ categories respectively, also received medals and dummy cheques of US$50,000 each.

The CAF African Schools Football Championship is proudly sponsored by the Motsepe Foundation.
