The Uganda Cranes have been summoned for the upcoming African Nations Championship (CHAN) 2024 Qualifiers against Burundi.
Head Coach Paul Put has unveiled a 26-player provisional squad to face the Burundian side in a two-legged affair scheduled for December 26th and 29th at Hamz Stadium, Nakivubo.
While Uganda, Kenya, and Tanzania have already secured their places as hosts of the tournament, Burundi and other regional teams are vying for the fourth and final slot allocated to East Africa.
The Uganda Cranes will commence non-residential training on December 21st before entering a full training camp on December 25th at Nob View Hotel.
The CHAN 2024 tournament is set to take place from February 1st to 28th, 2025.
