NBS Sport Honored for Successful Corporate Games Coverage

NBS Sport has received praise for its instrumental role in promoting local sports following the triumphant conclusion of the 2024 Corporate Games season.

The games, which unfolded throughout the year, were covered extensively on the channel, marking a significant stride in the country’s corporate sports landscape.

Earlier this year, NBS Sport and the Corporate Games forged a strategic partnership, solidifying the channel’s position as the official media broadcast partner.

This collaboration proved to be a game-changer, with NBS Sport providing comprehensive coverage of the games, significantly enhancing visibility for both athletes and participating companies.

The season was an unequivocal success, prompting effusive praise from organizers for NBS Sport’s pivotal contribution to the advancement of sports within Uganda.

Ian Lumanyika, Chairman of the Corporate Games, expressed profound gratitude for NBS Sport’s unwavering support, emphasizing the channel’s professionalism and unwavering commitment to the cause.

“The media support provided by NBS Sport has been invaluable in promoting sports to a wider audience,” stated Lumanyika.

Joe Kigozi, General Manager of NBS Sport, echoed the sentiments, commending the organizers for their meticulous planning and flawless execution of the games.

He pledged an even more impactful performance next year, underscoring the channel’s unwavering dedication to promoting all facets of sports within Uganda.

“We are immensely proud to support the Corporate Games and have extended our memorandum of understanding with them for the forthcoming year,” Kigozi affirmed.

Anticipating sustained growth, the Corporate Games are poised to attract a greater number of corporate participants next year, further solidifying its status as the preeminent corporate sports initiative in Uganda.

In a gesture of appreciation, several NBS Sport employees were recognized for their exceptional contributions to the coverage of the games, ensuring a seamless and captivating viewing experience for the audience.
