Finance Trust Bank Women Super League: Amus Sweeps November Awards

Just like in October when Kawempe Muslims dominated the inaugural Finance Trust Bank Women Super League monthly awards, November saw Amus College take center stage.

The newly promoted side performed impressively in November, registering two wins, two draws, and only one loss.

These results earned head coach Faridah Bulega the Coach of the Month award, beating Rines SS’s Tadeo Nyanzi and She Maroons’ Simon Peter Ocuka.

Notably, Bulega was also nominated in October when Kawempe’s Ayub Khalifah took the award.

After receiving her accolade, she dedicated the honor to everyone at Amus College.

“This award belongs to the entire team, from the players to the administration,” Bulega said.

“Their hard work and support are the reasons behind this recognition.”

Meanwhile, forward Esther Namataka was named Player of the Month for her exceptional contributions.

Her contribution included scoring two crucial goals and helping her team secure eight points.

“This award motivates me to work even harder and improve,” Namataka told the media.

“The team spirit we have is the foundation of our success,” Namataka remarked.

Each received a prize of UGX 500,000 and a plaque courtesy of Finance Trust Bank.

Amus College now sits third in the 12-team standings with 21 points from 11 matches.

They are only trailing leaders Kawempe Muslims and second-placed Kampala Queens.
