Botes Names Teen Cranes Squad for U17 World Cup Qualifiers

Coach Sheryl Botes Ulanda has summoned a 39-player provisional squad to begin preparations for the upcoming FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup Qualifiers.

The team will enter residential camp at the FUFA Technical Centre in Njeru starting Wednesday, January 8th, 2025.

Uganda will face Namibia in a two-legged qualifier. The first leg will be played on January 16th, 2025 while the return leg will be played on January 19th, 2025. Both games will be played at Hamz Stadium, Nakivubo.

The winner of the aggregate score will advance to the second round of qualifiers against Kenya.
