On opening day at King’s Park Arena, Pirates will face Walukuba at 4 pm in the Nile Special Rugby Championship, while defending champions Black Pearls will go head-to-head with Ewes in the Women’s League earlier at 2pm.

Both matches will be broadcast live on NBS Sport and streamed on AfroMobile, ensuring fans nationwide can catch every moment.

Other action will see defending champions Heathens beginning their title defense against Warriors at Kyadondo Rugby Club at 4 pm.

Last year’s National 7s Women’s Champions, the Avengers will launch their campaign against Thunderbirds at the same venue at 2 pm.

The regular season is set to run until Saturday, March 22, before transitioning to the play-offs.

Quarterfinal play-offs will commence with the first round scheduled between March 28 and 30, followed by the second round from April 4 to 6.

Semi-final action begins with Round 1 from April 11 to 12, while the first round of relegation play-offs will take place from April 12 to 13.

The second legs of the semi-finals and relegation play-offs are scheduled for April 25-27.

The season will then culminate on Saturday, May 10, with the much-anticipated final that will determine the 2025 champions.
