Former Kitara manager Brian Ssenyondo has commended Denis Omedi’s discipline, dedication, and passion as the striker embarks on a new chapter with APR FC in Rwanda.
In a heartfelt tweet, Ssenyondo reflected on Omedi’s exceptional qualities and contributions during their time together, which included a historic Stanbic Uganda Cup triumph.

Ssenyondo, who coached Kitara during their successful 2023/24 campaign, played a pivotal role in nurturing Omedi’s talent.
Under Ssenyondo’s guidance, Omedi emerged as a key figure in the team, scoring crucial goals in the Uganda Cup and delivering consistent performances in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League.
Omedi’s efforts helped Kitara secure their first-ever Uganda Cup title, with standout performances against Gaddafi FC and Pajule Lions FC.

During his time at Kitara, Omedi played 45 matches across all competitions, scoring 19 goals.
