UPL Returns with a Bang: The Must-Watch Matchups

After a brief hiatus to accommodate the 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN), the Uganda Premier League (UPL) is set to make its highly anticipated return.

The delayed CHAN tournament was rescheduled by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) to August, allowing the co-hosts, Uganda, Kenya, and Tanzania, more time to prepare, particularly in terms of infrastructure.

As a result, the UPL will resume from its break, with the second half of the season officially kicking off on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, running through Thursday, February 13.

The Diehards, who are currently second on the table, defeated KCCA 1-0 in the first leg in November as hosts, with Muzamiru Mutyaba scoring the decisive goal.
