The Finance Trust Women Super League celebrated its top performers for December 2024, awarding Lady Doves’ Resty Kobusobozi Player of the Month and Kampala Queens’ Head Coach Asefa Hailegabreal Coach of the Month.
The awards ceremony, held at the Finance Trust Bank offices, saw FUFA Deputy CEO Decolas Kiiza Hantali present the honors.
Kobusobozi, a third-season veteran with Lady Doves, emerged victorious from a competitive field that included Kampala Queens’ Shamirah Nalugya and Shamusa Najjuma.
Her exceptional performance in the first round of the league, culminating in a league-leading 9 goals and 4 assists, cemented her claim to the award.
“I got this success because I believe in Jesus, myself, and my fellow players,” Kobusobozi commented.
Hailegabreal received the Coach of the Month accolade for his strategic guidance of Kampala Queens to the top of the league table.
He credited his team’s hard work and dedication as key factors in their success.
