BUL Football Club have confirmed their return to the FUFA Technical Centre in Njeru for their second-round home matches of the 2024/25 season.
The Eastern Giants, who had spent the first round at Lugazi Stadium in Najjembe, will now be back at a familiar venue where they played for three consecutive seasons before temporarily relocating.
The club officially announced the move on their social media platforms, stating: “We are back home this Sunday as we take on Mbale Heroes. Are you ready, Giants, for the grand return? Let’s meet at FUFA Technical Centre Njeru on Sunday.”
BUL endured a difficult first-round campaign at Lugazi Stadium, managing just one victory in seven home games. They drew four times and lost twice, with their only win coming against Bright Stars.
Their decision to return to Njeru follows their earlier announcement that they would be moving away from Lugazi in search of a more suitable home ground.
The Jinja-based club originally shifted to Lugazi at the start of the season due to renovations at the FUFA Technical Centre.
Now, with the venue ready to host games again, BUL will hope for a turnaround in form as they resume their campaign.
Abbey Kikomeko’s side will mark their return to Njeru with a home fixture against Mbale Heroes on Sunday, February 16.
They head into the match in high spirits after securing a 2-0 victory over Express at Nakivubo Stadium in their first second-round game.
