St Noah Girls School extended their dominance in Girls football after clinching this year’s Elite schools title with a 3-0 win over Kawempe Muslim SS in the final played at the St Joseph SS in Kavule-Mpigi.
Maimuna Namuwaya was voted best goalkeeper while Sylvia Kabene was the top scorer and the duo was key for the triumphant side.
The finalists are the top girls football playing schools in the country – competing in the FUFA Women Elite League.

Unbeaten St Noah lead the Elizabeth group with 19 points, 8 above second placed Kawempe Muslim.
Meanwhile, Jinja Progressive Academy (JIPRA) beat Amus College 4-2 in penalties to win the boys title after a scoreless normal time stalemate.
Luwanga Rashid was voted best goal keeper, Kibirango Erick was the top scorer while Isabirye William was voted the tournament’s best player.
The competition is organised by the Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association (USSSA) with schools competing in seven disciplines including football, rugby 7s, netball, handball, volleyball and basketball.
