Uganda Squash Scores Big: Edgbaston Priory Club Marks 150 Years with Transformative Partnership

The Uganda Squash Rackets Association (USRA) is celebrating an exciting milestone following the announcement of a landmark partnership with the Edgbaston Priory Club in Birmingham, one of the United Kingdom’s premier squash institutions.

This collaboration coincides with Edgbaston Priory Club’s 150th anniversary, marking a historic moment in the global squash community.

As part of this transformative partnership, Edgbaston Priory Club has generously donated a comprehensive squash kit to Uganda Squash.

This contribution underscores the club’s dedication to promoting the growth of squash internationally.

Shifah Nantambi, speaking on behalf of USRA, emphasized the significance of this collaboration.

“This milestone partnership will undoubtedly elevate the sport of squash in Uganda and provide our players with the resources they need to succeed. We are grateful for their support and look forward to a long and fruitful partnership,” she said.

The donation of essential equipment is set to revolutionize training and competition opportunities for Ugandan squash players, creating a solid foundation for the sport’s growth in the region.

The Uganda Squash Rackets Association acknowledged the immense value of this partnership in driving forward their mission to cultivate talent and advance squash in Uganda.

They also extended heartfelt gratitude to Edgbaston Priory Club for their unwavering support and commitment.
