What is the Rugby Africa Women’s Div I Tournament?
This is the second tier competition in Rugby Africa’s women’s XVs hierarchy, one step below the Rugby Africa Women’s Cup.
The Rugby Africa Women’s Cup is where the likes of giants South Africa who have been to the Rugby World Cup, Madagascar and neighbours Kenya compete.
Four countries — Uganda, Tunisia, Zimbabwe and hosts Côte d’Ivoire — will compete in this year’s edition of the Division I tournament to gain promotion to the Africa Cup.
