Kampala Queens Extend Lead with Comfortable Win Over Wakiso Hill

Kampala Queens tightened their grip on the Finance Trust Bank FUFA Women Super League with a dominant 3-0 victory over Wakiso Hill SS Women on Saturday morning at St. Mary’s Stadium, Kitende.

Despite a goalless first half, the league leaders found their rhythm in the second period, with Peace Muduwa breaking the deadlock in the 71st minute.

Catherine Nagadya doubled the lead eight minutes later before Nandede Zainah sealed the win in the 85th minute, ensuring Kampala Queens opened a commanding nine-point gap at the top of the table.

Wakiso Hill, rooted at the bottom of the standings, struggled to contain the relentless attack from Kampala Queens, who controlled possession and dictated play throughout the match.

The defeat further deepens their relegation woes, while Kampala Queens edge closer to securing the league title.

Elsewhere, Tooro Queens fought for survival against Lady Doves winning 1-0 in Fort Portal thanks to a Katusiime Everyn goal, while Amus College and Olila High School played out to a one-all draw as the race for the top spots continued.
