Platinum Credit Heathens and KCB KOBs settled for a draw in the first Lions Cup tie of the year.

Heathens and KOBs scored a try apiece in the match played under a windy downpour at Kyadondo Rugby Club.

The hosts’ try was scored by Tony Okello while Karim Arinaitwe touched down for the visitors on opposite ends of the halftime break.

Aaron Ofoyrwoth and Malcolm Okello kicked a penalty each for Heathens while for KOBs, Calvin Gizamba kicked a penalty and a drop goal.

There were scarce opportunities for both teams to put more points on the scoreboard but they were agonisingly squandered.

Despite this being a fierce old rivalry, KOBs were the overwhelming favourites to come out on top of Heathens.

It ended 11-11 as both teams added two points to their tally on the table. KOBs (40 points) stayed in second place and Heathens (32 points) in fourth place.

This was the penultimate round of the regular season of the 2025 men’s Uganda Rugby Premiership.

Full Round Ten Results:

• Kampani Eagles 21-26 Warriors
• Elgon Wolves 06-69 Walukuba
• Plascon Mongers 19-22 Victoria Sharks
• Platinum Credit Heathens 11-11 KCB KOBs
• Rhinos 22-27 Jinja Hippos
• Stanbic Black Pirates 39-18 Toyota Buffaloes
