The stage is set for the TotalEnergies CAF Under-17 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), Morocco 2025, with the unveiling of a revitalized logo and a newly designed trophy that symbolizes ambition, growth, and African unity.
The announcement was made on Wednesday, ahead of the tournament scheduled to take place from 30 March to 19 April in Casablanca, Mohammedia, and El Jadida.
The new trophy, themed “Journey Begins,” represents the young players’ paths toward legendary futures. Featuring a road-like design integrated with the map of Africa, it reflects pride and unity across the continent.
The tournament’s new logo mirrors the trophy’s design, emphasizing CAF’s commitment to nurturing Africa’s next generation of football stars.
The TotalEnergies CAF U-17 AFCON also serves as a FIFA World Cup qualifier, with Africa set to send 10 teams to the expanded global competition in Qatar later this year.
With groups already drawn, fans are eager to see teams such as Morocco, Uganda, Cameroon, and Senegal compete for continental glory.
