In collaboration with CANAL+ University, CAF invites individuals under the age of 25 with a passion for football journalism to apply for this unique opportunity.

Participants will engage in expert-led masterclasses hosted by esteemed CANAL+ journalist Charles Mbuya. Moreover, they will gain hands-on experience by covering live events during the championship finals.

The registration process requires candidates to submit a motivational cover letter detailing their enthusiasm for football journalism, along with their resume and a sample of their work—whether it be a text article, audio clip, or video—to [email protected]. Applications close on 4 April 2025.

This initiative is part of CAF’s broader commitment to youth development and capacity building.

In addition to the Young Reporters Workshop, other enriching programmes slated for the continental finals include:

• CAF D License Coaching Course
• Safeguarding workshops
•Safety and Security workshops
• Young Medical Officers Programme
• Young Referee Programme
