According to the revised fixture list, Uganda is scheduled to play five group matches between April 18 and April 24, 2025, against South Africa, Kenya, Zimbabwe, Namibia, and Zambia. The tournament is being held in Windhoek, Namibia.

The team will then face regional rivals Kenya on Saturday, April 19, in an evening clash set for 8:00pm EAT.

A quick turnaround follows with a morning match against Zimbabwe on Monday, April 21, at 10:00am EAT.

The fourth fixture comes against hosts Namibia on Tuesday, April 22, at 7:00pm EAT, before wrapping up the group phase against Zambia on Thursday, April 24, at 11:00am EAT.

Uganda’s Revised Junior Africa Cup Schedule:

  • Friday, April 18: Uganda vs South Africa – 10:00am EAT
  • Saturday, April 19: Uganda vs Kenya – 8:00pm EAT
  • Monday, April 21: Uganda vs Zimbabwe – 10:00am EAT
  • Tuesday, April 22: Uganda vs Namibia – 7:00pm EAT
  • Thursday, April 24: Uganda vs Zambia – 11:00am EAT

Depending on final group standings, Uganda could play one of two classification matches on Friday, April 25:

  • If they finish 1st or 2nd, they will play in the final at 7:00pm EAT (Match 18).
  • If they place 3rd or 4th, they will contest the bronze playoff at 2:15pm EAT (Match 16).

The tournament serves as a qualifier for the 2025 FIH Junior Women’s World Cup, with the top two teams earning a place at the global event in Santiago, Chile.
