Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim is adamant the club remains a top draw for players despite sitting 14th in the Premier League.
Speaking after their loss to Wolves, Amorim, who joined in November, said, “Every player wants to play for Manchester United,” despite acknowledging their current problems.
Facing a potential worst finish since 1974 and the risk of missing European football, United are reportedly targeting Wolves forward Matheus Cunha and Ipswich striker Liam Delap.
Amorim hinted at significant squad changes, stating he has a “clear idea” for next season.
While refusing to confirm interest in Cunha, who has a £62.5m release clause, Amorim cited Casemiro’s renewed commitment as an example of the club’s pull.
“We want to do things early and we have an idea,” he added regarding their rebuilding plans.
