Egypt and Guinea exited the Women’s Futsal Africa Cup of Nations after a dramatic 3-3 draw in their final Group B match.
Despite a spirited back-and-forth encounter, the single point wasn’t enough for either side to reach the semifinals.
Egypt twice took the lead, but Guinea fought back each time, even briefly leading in the second half before a late Egyptian equalizer.
Angola topped Group B to advance, while hosts Morocco also secured a semifinal spot from Group A.
The tournament offers two World Cup qualification slots. For Egypt and Guinea, their campaigns end with a display of fighting spirit but ultimately without a place in the final four.
