The first World Athletics Ultimate Championship will electrify Budapest’s National Athletics Centre from September 11-13, 2026.
This three-day spectacle will feature approximately 360 elite athletes across 28 events, including sprints, middle and long-distance races, hurdles, jumps, throws, and relays.
Already, 26 reigning Olympic champions, such as Noah Lyles and Faith Kipyegon, have qualified for the event, which will also include world champions and Diamond League winners.
Athletes will compete for a record-breaking US10 million prize pot, with each individual champion earning US150,000.
