Following a run of good results, Buhimba United Saints have changed their earlier set season target from a respectable finish to winning the title.
Buhimba currently leads the table with 41 points, two and four points above second placed Blacks Power and third placed Gaddafi respectively.
Club CEO Cogans Bisobolwa says that they cannot settle for less.
“We have since changed our season target from a top three finish to top flight promotion. We are right now looking at winning the trophy,” he noted.

After seeing his side beat former premier league Busoga United over the weekend, the side’s assistant coach John Ongodia believes that their new target is achievable.
“We first want to achieve the primary target; that is promotion to the Uganda premier league. The management, technical team and the players are determined towards achieving that,” he noted.

Buhumba is under the stewardship of Mark Twinamatsiko who joined the Kikuube district-based side in March this year to replace Paul Nkata.
The top three teams earn promotion to the premier league while the bottom four get relegated to the respective third tier leagues.
