Bournemouth have successfully appealed against Evanilson’s red card from Sunday’s 1-1 draw with Manchester United, the FA confirmed.
The striker was initially booked for a challenge on Noussair Mazraoui, which was then upgraded to a red after VAR review, despite appearing to slip.
The overturned three-match ban means the Brazilian is now available for Saturday’s game against Arsenal. An FA statement cited a “successful claim of wrongful dismissal.”
Bournemouth are currently 10th and aiming for a potential Europa Conference League spot via an eighth-place finish, dependent on the FA Cup final result.
