Tottenham Hotspur captain Son Heung-min will miss Thursday’s Europa League semifinal first leg against Bodo/Glimt due to a foot injury, manager Ange Postecoglou confirmed.
Son has been sidelined since April 10th. While Postecoglou had hoped for his return, he stated, “He (Son) won’t feature tomorrow night. He is in training but he is still separate from the group. He is improving, and hopefully, we will get him back in sooner rather than later.”
Son has 11 goals this season. Spurs are currently 16th in the Premier League after a 5-1 loss to Liverpool.
His absence is a blow as they seek a positive result in the Europa League semifinal.
