Athletic Club winger Nico Williams has reiterated his happiness at the club and his sole focus on the Europa League, amid ongoing transfer links with Arsenal and Barcelona.
Speaking before their semi-final first leg against Manchester United on Thursday, Williams told Sport, “The dream is to lift the champion’s trophy at San Mamés… I’m 100% focused on tomorrow… I’m super happy here.”
The 22-year-old, who reportedly rejected approaches last summer, has a €58 million release clause.
While acknowledging the speculation, Williams’ priority is leading Athletic Club to Europa League glory, with the final being held at their home stadium.
