Following the Los Angeles Lakers’ first-round play-off loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves (103-96 in game five), LeBron James said he is unsure if he will continue his NBA career.
The 40-year-old, in his 22nd season, had hoped for a fifth championship.
James, who has a two-year deal with the Lakers, will discuss his future with his family. He cited playing alongside his son, Bronny, as the highlight of the season.
Rudy Gobert starred for the Timberwolves with 27 points and 24 rebounds.
They will face either the Warriors or Rockets in the next round.
The Rockets kept their hopes alive by beating the Warriors 131-116, reducing the series deficit to 3-2.
