Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti will reveal his future plans on May 25, after their final La Liga game against Real Sociedad.
The announcement intensifies speculation linking him to the Brazil national team job.
Speaking ahead of Sunday’s clash with Celta Vigo, Ancelotti stressed his focus is on overtaking Barcelona’s four-point lead to win La Liga.
This would offer some relief after Copa del Rey defeat to Barça and Champions League exit to Arsenal.
“I will speak about my future on the 25th (of May) and not before,” said the 65-year-old, who has a year left on his Madrid contract.
Ancelotti, who has won three Champions Leagues and two La Liga titles with Real Madrid across two spells, emphasized his strong bond with the club.
“It will be a fantastic goodbye, because I have a lot of affection for the club and it does for me too,” he stated.
Despite a mounting defensive injury crisis, Ancelotti remains committed to fighting for the league title until the end.
