Zamalek Sports Club have been hit with a fresh three-window FIFA transfer ban for failing to pay former coach Jaime Pacheco €819,000 in compensation after his early contract termination.
This new sanction compounds an existing ban due to unpaid dues to Moroccan striker Khalid Boutaib (€983,000 remaining from a €2.4 million settlement).
FIFA upheld an earlier ruling from November 2024 regarding the Pacheco debt, further deepening the club’s financial woes and severely restricting their ability to sign new players.
The club’s management is yet to release an official statement regarding the latest ban and the steps they intend to take to resolve these pressing financial issues.
